Dr. Mohammed is a Qatari national entrepreneur responsible for many successful ventures in North America and the Middle East. He is Chairman of Asad Holding, Al-Emadi Real Estate Investment Group Holding, Al-Emadi Capital, New Methods, Asad Investments, and Mohammed Asad Al-Emadi Auditing & Accounting Firm. Dr. Al-Emadi is Financial Adviser to The Prime Minister of Qatar. Dr. Al-Emadi also served as, Group CEO & MD of Barwa (a listed company in Qatar Exchange), CEO & Board Member of Doha Group, CEO of National Leasing Holding (a listed company in Qatar Exchange), Chief Investment Officer of Qatari Diar (State of Qatar Real Estate Arm), and Deputy Manager Internal Audit at Qatar Petroleum.
Dr. Al-Emadi has over twenty-eight years of international experience in business industry. He holds advanced degrees in management, accounting, finance and business administration. He received his Doctorate “with distinction” in Organizational Learning and Leadership from The George Washington University, his Master’s degree “with honors” in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas, and his Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Arizona.
As part of Dr. Al-Emadi’s commitment to social responsibility, Dr. Mohammed serves on the advisory boards of World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL) and Golfo Radio, and runs not-for-profit human capital and career counseling services to support talented Qatari nationals. Furthermore, Dr. Al-Emadi also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University in Qatar and California State University in Long Beach. Dr. Mohammed also worked as a Visiting Scholar and Adjunct Professor at California State University in San Jose.
Dr. Mohammed and his wife, a Pediatric Cardiology Consultant at Hamad Medical Corporation, have been married for 24-years and have three sons (Yousef, Abdulaziz, & Jassim) and a daughter (Shaikha). They enjoy their time traveling, reading, and marathon running.
